Esto Care are a local care provider based in Okehampton (Devon), Hatherleigh (Devon) & some areas in North Devon.

 They have a number of Support Worker vacancies available. Duties will involve:
  • To be part of a team providing a high-quality service for people with learning disabilities/mental health/autism, which enables users to live with a maximum of choice and independence, participating in a wide range of community based activities, designed to meet their individual needs
  • Using a person-centred approach when assist people with learning disabilities/mental health/autism, and help them to live more fulfilling lives
  • Develop and use their individual skills via the provision of support, assistance and personal care
  • The post holder will be required to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays on a rota shift system as directed

​ We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our growing Okehampton office. The role will include full training and support to achieve your accountancy qualifications and will encompass experience working in financial services with the Coventry Building Society.

Accountancy Apprenticeship
 Under the direction of our friendly and experienced team, our award-winning Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) apprenticeship will aim to give you the best of starts to your accounting career.

 Your training will cover a wide range of accounting and tax work, including the preparation of quarterly management accounts and preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
​
 You will also gain experience in various aspects of tax, such as the compilation of tax computations, preparing corporation tax returns, self-assessment tax returns plus preparation of VAT returns.

Person Specification
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
  • Organised and able to plan time efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
  • Minimum 2 A levels or equivalent.
  • GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English Language.

​Apprenticeships give you an opportunity to learn and gain a recognised qualification whilst you work.
All apprenticeships are paid and you will be expected to work for a minimum of 30 hours a week, which includes the time you spend at college.
You will spend most of your time within your workplace and the rest of your training will be provided by the College normally on a one day a week basis, although variations can apply according to the programme.
