An exciting new initiative for Year 7 students will be available during this year’s Summer Holidays.
This course is an opportunity for Year 7 students to participate in a number of wide ranging outdoor pursuits including; gorge scrambling, mountain biking, high ropes and canoeing. The course is being organised by the Rotary Club of Okehampton, extensively funded by Okehampton United Charities with the activities being coordinated and supervised by Adventure Okehampton.
There will be two, one-week courses, limited to 36 students on each course. These will run for 5 days from Monday to Friday commencing on the 8th August 2016 and 15th August 2016.
We are asking for a small personal contribution of £30 per youngster. Application forms will be available from the Student Reception at College. There will also be a short presentation for students and parents in the Spring Term outlining the aims and the practical aspects of the initiative. Hopefully, any questions you might have can be addressed then.
If you enjoy a sense of adventure and want to have some fun with your fellow students during the summer holidays, put the dates in your diaries, get an application form and let your parents know NOW.
